2010 Events at Denver Golf Club

Below are some of the events that we have held in 2010, so that you can get an idea of the range of events that we put on at Denver.

Junior Golf Camp Day

Wednesday 17th February 2010

Starting at 10.00 am, the day includes tuition on the following:

Putting technique
Chipping practice
Golf etiquette
Rules of golf

The day includes lunch with a drink.

After lunch there is a Junior Competition on the Oaks Course, when you can put into practice what you have learnt. Afterwards, the Awards Ceremony will conclude by 3.00 pm.

Junior Easter Event

Thursday 15th April 2010

From 10 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.

The day will include lots of fun:

tuition - putting - chipping
golf etiquette and rules
competition after lunch on the Oaks Course - including Nearest the Pin

You don't have to be good at golf to enjoy the day!

Tour Edge Demonstration Event

Saturday 8th May 2010

Denver Golf Club is pleased to be hosting a Tour Edge Demonstration Event from 10.30 am to 2.30 pm. Tour Edge will be demonstrating their Launch Monitor - it's free to have a go - which will show you how you hit your golf balls.

Everybody is welcome to get involved and Tour Edge will be pleased to assist in any way they can.

Monthly Pro Swindle

Jason is throwing down the gauntlet to all oncomers (and newcomers)! Open to all members, guests and general public.

Final Monthly Pro Swindle of 2010

Sunday 29th August 2010

Jason is challenging you all for the final time this year. The format of play is 9 holes greensomes, teeing-off at 10.30 am.

1st, 2nd and 3rd team prizes - with a separate team bet against the Pro. The Pro's Swindle handicap allowance system will be used to handicap all the teams - this is "3/8 combined handicap".

Open to all Members, guests and members of the public.

Food will be available to everyone after play - so why not invite your family and friends to join you? Please indicate if you would like food when making your booking.
