Denver Golf Club

Denver Golf Club is home to a beautiful 18-hole golf course - the Oaks Course - par 27 - with views of Denver Windmill, set in mature landscaped grounds within a county wildlife site. The Hawthorns Course - par 35 - has par-3, 4 and 5 holes to challenge your long game. We are open all year (except during extreme weather conditions and on Christmas Day). On weekdays the course is open from 8.30 am to dusk and at weekends from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm. Longer evening opening hours apply in the summer months - please call us to confirm the details.

Our facilities are perfect for beginners and juniors who want to experience golf in friendly surroundings and find out more about the game of golf. We have a bunker and a practice green where you can develop your techniques before going on to the driving range or the course. We also cater for seniors and groups who want to enjoy golf in a relaxed and informal setting.

The Oaks course is an ideal facility for you to practise and improve your short game and the Hawthorn course will benefit your driving skills and long game. In fact, our course can be used to improve a wide variety of golfing techniques. We are proud of our 10-acre driving range which is perfect for you to develop sound techniques in your long game. Do not worry if you do not have any golf equipment - we hire clubs, bags and trolleys.

Please click here for information on our green fees.

The driving range is open on weekdays from 8.30 am to 9.00 pm and at weekends from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm. The range has twenty bays of which twelve are under cover with six of those floodlit and heated, so come along on those dark evenings and get your game into even better shape.  Please click here for information on our driving range charges.

You can order refreshments from our Denver Bay menu at any time on your mobile 'phone (01366 385716) from the driving range and we will bring them direct to your bay at no extra cost.

Whether you're playing golf or not, you can relax at any time in our tea room to enjoy a snack or a meal and a refreshing cup of tea or coffee or a soft drink. A wide selection of cooked food, sandwiches, cakes and confectionery is always available during opening hours. On Sunday, we serve a roast lunch in addition to all our regular menu items.

For a more structured approach and to get the perfect start in golf Denver Golf Club is also offering the Cadets' course from the Young Masters' Junior Golf programme. YMG is a comprehensive, step-by-step guide designed to progress young people from beginner to advanced level.

Corporate Days

We are happy to work with you to arrange corporate entertainment days, to accommodate team-building events, or to host charity events at Denver Golf Club. Prices will be negotiated individually for each event.

Junior Birthday Parties

At Denver Golf Club we'll arrange a Junior birthday party with you.  Of course, there will plenty of golfing fun, skill and tuition for the juniors.  There are three set options for you to choose from and a fourth option where we will work together with you to arrange just what you want.

Our catering side is continuing to develop very well and we now have lots of regulars for snacks and meals. In the summer months we will have more room to accommodate you - thanks to our extension! - and a wider range of delights with which to tempt you!

We serve breakfasts from 8.30 am to 11.00 am; lunches from 12 noon to 2.00 pm; and dinners from 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm. A range of tea, coffee and soft drinks is always available.

Don't forget our home-cooked Sunday roasts - you do not need to book in advance, but it is helpful for us if you can. We have a licence to sell alcohol for consumption on the premises, so you can enjoy a drink with your meal.

Remember - you don't need to play golf to eat or drink here.
